First Person Lightning Blackjack
Objective of the game
The objective of First Person Lightning Blackjack is to achieve a higher sum of values than the virtual dealer, but without going over 21. The best hand is Blackjack, when the value of the first two cards dealt is exactly 21. You compete against the virtual dealer and not other players, with the chance to win multipliers that increase your winnings by 2x-25x!
- It is played with 8 decks.
- The cards are shuffled before each game.
- The dealer always stands on 17.
- The dealer checks for Blackjack with an Ace.
- You can double down after receiving the initial two cards.
- You can split starting cards of the same value.
- You can only split once per hand.
- A single card is dealt to each split Ace.
- Doubling after splitting is not allowed.
- You can purchase insurance if the dealer is dealt an Ace.
- Blackjack pays 3 to 2.
- Insurance pays 2 to 1.
- The game ends in a draw when the hands add up to the same amount.
Rules of the game
The game is played with 8 standard decks of 52 cards. The values of the cards are as follows:
- Cards 2 through 10 are worth their face value.
- Face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are worth 10.
- Aces are worth 1 or 11, depending on which is more favorable for the hand. Note that a “soft” hand contains an Ace worth 11.
After you have placed your bets, click/tap the DEAL button to start dealing. The virtual dealer deals one card face up to the player, then one card face up to the virtual dealer. The virtual dealer then deals a second card face up to the player, but the virtual dealer's second card is dealt face down. The value of your starting hand appears next to the cards.
Blackjack
If the value of the first two cards in your starting hand is 21, you have a Blackjack!
Lightning Rules
You pay a mandatory 100% Lightning Fee on every initial bet. This gives you the chance to win a multiplier for your next hand. The Lightning Fee is not applicable in case of Double or Split.
Multipliers
If you win a round, the payout for the next round will be super big.
Multipliers are displayed each round after betting is closed. Multipliers are applied to your next hand if you win with “17 or less”, 18, 19, 20, 21 or Blackjack. Each of these winning hands will generate a random multiplier from 2x to 25x. If you have hit a multiplier and have to leave the game, you can use the multiplier on a round in your next game up to 180 days later.
If a player has a 5x multiplier and wins a $10 bet, the bet will be multiplied by 5, resulting in a payout of $50. Additionally, the player will get their original bet back.
If a player has won a multiplier but does not place a bet in the next round and instead decides to leave the game, they can return at any time before 180 days and the multiplier will still appear in the bet spot.
The multiplier covers your bet only up to the Lightning odds amount that was paid out in the round in which the multiplier was obtained. If you place a larger bet, a regular Blackjack payout is applied to the amount that exceeds the odds.
When Split is used and both hands win, the multiplier will be applied to the hand with the highest score.
All payouts with a multiplier are included in the multiplier. For example, if you have a Blackjack and a multiplier, only the multiplier will be applied.
In the event of a tie, your main bet will be returned to you, but you will lose your Lightning stake and the multiplier.
In case of Insurance, the Lightning rate and the multiplier are lost.
Sure
If the virtual dealer's up card is an Ace, you are given the option to purchase insurance to offset the risk that the virtual dealer has Blackjack, even if you yourself have Blackjack. The insurance amount is equal to half of your main bet, and the insurance bet is settled separately from the bet on your hand. The virtual dealer's down card is then checked to see if he has Blackjack. If he does not have Blackjack, the round continues. If the virtual dealer has Blackjack, but you do not, the virtual dealer's hand wins. If you both have Blackjack, the game ends in a tie and your bet is returned to you. Please note that if the virtual dealer's up card is a 10 or a face card, you will not have the option to purchase insurance and the virtual dealer's down card will not be checked to see if he has Blackjack.
Dealer checks Blackjack with Ace
If the virtual dealer's up card is an Ace, the dealer will check whether the hidden card is a face card or a 10 and whether the dealer has Blackjack. If the virtual dealer has Blackjack, the virtual dealer's hand wins. If both the player and the virtual dealer have a Blackjack, the game ends in a tie and your bet will be returned to you. If the virtual dealer does not have a Blackjack, the round continues.
Fold, Hit or Stand
When the virtual dealer does not have Blackjack when checking the initial two cards, players have the opportunity to improve the values of their hands at the same time by choosing to have more cards dealt.
If your starting hand value is not 21, you can decide to Double Down. If you do, you will double your bet and only one additional card will be dealt to your hand. Alternatively, you can decide to hit one additional card to add to the value of your hand. You can hit on more than one occasion and stand once you are satisfied with the value of your hand.
Split
If your starting hand is a pair of cards of equal value, you can decide to split the pair to form two separate hands, each with a bet equal to the initial bet. After a second card is dealt to both hands, you can improve the value of these two hands by deciding to Hit. Again, you can choose to Stand when you are satisfied with the value of your two hands. However, if you split a pair of Aces, each hand will receive only one additional card and you will not have the opportunity to hit more cards.
Result
If your hand sum exceeds 21, you have busted and will lose the bet on that hand.
When all hands have been decided, the virtual dealer reveals his hole card. The virtual dealer must hit if his hand is equal to or less than 16 and stand if his hand is equal to or greater than 17. Remember that a “soft” hand contains an Ace which is worth 11.
You win when the value of your final hand is closer to 21 than the virtual dealer's hand or when the dealer busts. If the hand value is the same, the round ends in a tie and your bet will be returned to you.
Blackjack is only possible using the two cards initially dealt. A hand of 21 resulting from a split pair is not considered Blackjack. Therefore, Blackjack will beat any hand of 21 resulting from a split pair.
Payments
- Blackjack pays 3:2-25:1.
- The winning hand pays 1-25:1.
- If the dealer has a Blackjack, insurance pays 2:1.
The payout will depend on the type of bet placed.
Multipliers you can win:
- Winning hand: 2x-15x
- Blackjack: 6x-25x
The optimal strategy is based on placing the same initial bet amount. If you increase your bet in a round in which you have qualified, the multiplier will only be applied up to the bet amount of the qualifying round. If you reduce your bet in a round in which you have qualified, the multiplier will only be applied up to the new bet amount. Therefore, you may not use the multiplier completely.
Please note that in the event of a failure, the game and all final payouts for the round will be voided. However, any multipliers you won in the previous round will be available for up to 180 days.
Return to player
The optimal theoretical return to player percentage is 99.56%.
