Rules of the game

  • Finn's Golden Tavern™ is a 5-reel, 5-row slot machine that features a Wild symbol, Free Spins with a multiplier meter and coin bonus, and 2 different Random Features.
  • The symbols follow a spiral pattern starting from the bottom left of the rollers and ending in the center position.
  • You can play with real money or coins. To switch between real money and coins, go to Game Settings. Note: Not all betting options are available at all casinos.
  • A BET is the amount of coins or money that is bet.
  • BALANCE indicates the amount of money or coins available for betting.
  • When playing with coins, the bet value is set by clicking the Bet Settings button and selecting the coin value.
  • When playing with money, the bet value is set by clicking the Bet Settings button and selecting the bet.
  • A prize for winning a cash game is equal to the value indicated in the Payout Table multiplied by the applicable multipliers.
  • Winning combinations and payouts are decided according to the Payout Table.
  • The payout values for the symbols shown in the Payout Table are dynamic and change according to the selected bet value.
  • Only the highest winnings are paid out for each game won.
  • At least 3 identical symbols in a row, horizontally or vertically, in any position on the reels, is a win.
  • Simultaneous winnings from different winning games are added together.
  • Free Spins are played using the same 25-space spin mechanic as the main game and at the same betting level as the round that triggered them.
  • All features are played using the same mechanics with 25 spaces, as in the main game and at the same betting level as in the round that activated them.
  • The prizes from Free Spins and Random Features are added to the prizes from the round that triggered them.
  • Minor prizes are any symbol other than a gold coin symbol (of any value), a Wild symbol, or the Free Spins Chest symbol.
  • The same currency symbols are used in the main game and in the features.

Rotation mechanics

  • In each of the 25 spaces, 25 separate symbols will appear that are independent of those around them.
  • The winning symbols will be destroyed and the remaining symbols will be moved to fill the empty space.
  • The symbols will move from the spaces with the highest number to the next space with the lowest number following the direction of the arrow (see diagram below)

Wild Symbols

  • Winnings and Wild symbols can cross or overlap in the same row or column.
  • Wild symbols do not appear during the initial spin/fall.
  • Wilds can be substituted for coin symbols. The coin or cash value of each Wild in a prize is determined randomly, but if a Wild is included in more than one prize with coin symbols, it has the same value in each.
  • Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except the Free Spins Chest symbol.

Matching gains

  • Any horizontal or vertical line of 3 or more matching symbols is a match win.
  • A single row or column can contain more than one win.
  • When there are 3 or 4 adjacent Wilds in a horizontal or vertical line, they can only substitute for symbols on either side of the line, meaning that a group of Wilds cannot create a winning combination on their own.
  • Each currency symbol has an assigned value and a match of 3 or more currency symbols pays the sum of all the money or coin values of the match.
  • Prizes awarded for matching only Wild symbols are counted if there are no other possible horizontal or vertical winning combinations. When this happens, Wild symbols are treated as random coins, as before, since all Wild symbols are assigned the same random coin/money value, generating one prize per match.

Avalanche and wild generation

  • Once all the winnings have been assessed, the symbols that were part of a winnings will explode and disappear.
  • Once the symbols have stopped, an assessment of the winnings will be carried out based on how the 5x5 grid appears.
  • There are different types of wins: wins that have Wild symbols and wins that do not.
  • Each win will activate 1 or 2 things, depending on the type it is.
  • Wins containing a Wild symbol: If the wins contain a Wild symbol, the Wild symbol contributing to the win will explode, destroying adjacent vertical and horizontal symbols.
  • Wins that do not contain a Wild symbol: If a win does not contain a Wild symbol, a new Wild symbol will be created to replace one of the symbols that has exploded and disappeared.
  • After the explosions have occurred and the new Wilds have taken their places, the remaining symbols will cascade down to fill the empty spaces. This process will repeat until no more winnings remain.
  • The new Wild symbols will be located in the center of the winning combination; however, there will be cases (see "Wild wins" above) where no new Wilds will be generated.
  • Avalanche winnings are added to the balance along with the main game winnings.

Random Coin Feature

  • Once all winning combinations and/or avalanches have occurred in a round, the Random Coin Feature can be activated.
  • For the Random Coin Feature to be activated, the Free Spins Chest symbol must not be in a central position on the reels; it must be in the symbol spin immediately around the central position.
  • When the Random Coin Feature is activated, either 1 or 2 minor prize symbols are chosen in the center position, or the circle of symbols surrounds it and turns it into a coin symbol.
  • The value of each currency symbol is chosen at random.
  • If the added coin symbols create a prize, the prize will be paid out as usual, and avalanches will be created and Wilds will be generated in the normal way until no more prizes occur. If, after all these avalanches, the Free Spins Chest symbol reaches the center position, the Free Spins are triggered.
  • The Random Coin feature cannot be activated more than once in the same round.

Free Spins Chest Symbol

  • The space in the bottom left of the reels will always start with a Free Spins Chest symbol.
  • The Free Spins Chest symbol will move towards the center as winnings occur, while the rest of the symbols will fall in a cascade.
  • The Free Spins Chest symbol cannot disappear during the main game or Free Spins.
  • The Free Spins will be triggered if the Free Spins Chest symbol is in the center position when there are no more winning combinations and all avalanches have been completed.

Free Spins

  • After all winnings or symbol avalanches have occurred, if the Free Spins Chest symbol is in the center position, a Free Spins game will be awarded.
  • Free Spins work in a similar way to the base game, except that a multiplier meter is included which can increase the prize payout.
  • The multiplier meter increases by one level for each Wild that is generated during avalanches.
  • For every 5 steps on the meter, the multiplier increases by 1, and this new multiplier is applied to all subsequent wins for the remainder of the Free Spins session. When Free Spins begins, the multiplier is set to 1.
  • The same Random Coin Feature that's in the main game can also be active during Free Spins under the same activation and payout conditions. The Random Coin Feature can only be activated once during each individual Free Spin.
  • In Free Spins, the Free Spins Chest symbol works the same way as in the main game; it starts in the farthest position and moves inwards as an avalanche occurs. However, during Free Spins, if the Free Spins Chest symbol is in the center position on the reels when the avalanches end, it will trigger the coin bonus feature.
  • This function places a number of coin symbols on the reels with random values assigned to them.
  • The coin symbols randomly replace minor prize symbols, and after the coins are initially placed, the prizes are evaluated. If no prizes are awarded after the coins are placed, an additional position is chosen from the remaining valid positions until a prize is awarded.
  • Once all the coins have been bet, all the prizes are generated and paid out accordingly, including the multiplier applied at that time. Avalanches and Wilds are also generated until no more winnings remain.
  • The coin bonus feature can occur on any Free Spin, even if it occurred on a previous Free Spin in the same Free Spins round.

First Slam Feature

  • In the main game and in a non-prize round, the First Slam Feature can be randomly activated and move a coin symbol to generate a prize.
  • After the prizes are paid out, the remaining symbols fall in avalanche and create new opportunities to win prizes.
  • The Free Spins Chest symbol cannot be moved by this function.
