Andar Bahar

Introduction

Andar Bahar is one of the most popular games in India. It is said to have its origins in Bangalore in the southern state of Karnataka, although it is also known as Mangatha or Ullae Veliyae in Tamil, mainly in the southern part of India. It is a very easy game of luck to play where the odds are 50/50.

The object of the Andar Bahar game is to guess in which area (Andar or Bahar) the card that must match the joker (dealer) card will be dealt.

How to play

To start playing, select a bet amount by clicking a chip in the chip tray, then click what you want below: Andar, Bahar, Primeras 3, Primera Andar, Primera Bahar, and numerous side bets.

You will be allowed to place or modify bets while the message PLACE YOUR BETS is displayed on
the screen. This will happen as soon as the joker card is dealt.

You can place bets during the betting phase until the dealer says: BETS CLOSED.

The total amount of your bets will be displayed in the Total Bet field.

Once the betting phase is over, the dealer will reveal one card on each side like this: the first card goes
to the Andar area and the second card goes to the Bahar area, and so on until one of the areas matches
the value (rank) of the joker card.

When one of the areas (Andar or Bahar) matches the joker card, the game round ends.

In the game user interface, the winning bet fields will be highlighted. If any of your bets cover the fields
of the winning bet, you will receive a payment according to the type of bets placed. The prize amount
will be displayed in the prize message.

At the end of the round, the dealer picks up all the open cards on the table, takes the remaining ones
from the sabot and places them in the card shuffler, from which the dealer takes the shuffled deck of
cards and begins the new round of play.

Card Values

The game is played with 1 standard deck of 52 cards.

The values of the cards (rank) are irrelevant in this game: the only thing that matters is whether one
of the side cards (Andar or Bahar) matches the joker (bank) card (for example, the joker card is a
king and after dealing cards to both areas until Andar or Bahar also have a king, then the game ends).

The rank (value) and suit (color) of the cards are relevant when they are placed in the Top 3 area.
