Fan Tan

Objective of the game

The objective of Fan Tan is to guess the number of beads that will remain in the last row when the selected beads are removed and arranged in rows of four.

Rules of the game

During the betting time, a random number of beads are selected from a pile using a bowl, only the selected beads participate in the current game round.

When the betting time is up, the selected beads will be arranged on the table in rows of four beads per row.

The beads are sorted using a special stick. The last beads remaining (between 1 and 4 beads) are placed in a row in the middle of the table and that number is the result of the game.

Game visualization

Fan Tan can be played in two different views: the default game view or the advanced view. The default game view displays the main bet types, while the advanced view includes more traditional Fan Tan bet types.

• You can switch between the two game views by clicking or tapping the view switch button. The view switch button changes depending on the selected view mode.

• You can switch from the default view to the advanced view at any time during the game.
• However, you will only be able to switch from the advanced view to the default view if you have not placed any bets or if the bet type you have chosen is available in the default game view.

Types of bets

Different types of bets can be made at the Fan Tan table, and each of them has its own payout. In addition to your winnings, you get back the bet you have made. The betting points available depend on the game view you have selected.

Bet types in the default view:

1. 1, 2, 3, 4: Bet on a single number of remaining beads (1, 2, 3 or 4). A win pays 2.85 to 1.
2. Big/Small - Bet on whether the number of beads remaining will be Small (1 or 2) or Big (3 or 4). A win pays 0.95 to 1.
3. Odd/Even - Bet on whether the number of beads remaining will be Odd (1 or 3) or Even (2 or 4). A win pays 0.95 to 1.

Bet types in advanced view:

1. 1, 2, 3, 4: Bet on a single number of remaining beads (1, 2, 3 or 4). A win pays 2.85 to 1.
2. Big/Small - Bet on whether the number of beads remaining will be Small (1 or 2) or Big (3 or 4). A win pays 0.95 to 1.
3. Odd/Even - Bet on whether the number of beads remaining will be Odd (1 or 3) or Even (2 or 4). A win pays 0.95 to 1.
4. Nim: Bet on 2 possible remaining bet numbers. If the first number appearing in the Nim bet spot is the result of the game, it counts as a win. The payout is 1.90 to 1. If the last number appearing in the Nim bet spot is the result of the game, it is considered a tie and you get your initial bet back.
5. Kwok: Bet on two possible remaining betting numbers. The Kwok betting point numbers indicate which 2 numbers will be considered winners. The win is paid 0.95 to 1.
6. Ssh - Bet on three possible remaining bet numbers. The Ssh bet point numbers indicate which three numbers will be considered winners. The win is paid 0.316667 to 1.

Payments

Your payout depends on the type of bet placed. In addition to the winnings, you will get your stake back.

Please note that in the event of a failure, the game and all final payouts for the round will be voided. Bet amounts will also be returned.

Return to player

The optimal theoretical Return to Player (RTP) percentage is 98.75% based on an Ssh bet. The RTP range is from 96.25% to 98.75%.

The BET LIMITS panel displays the minimum and maximum bet limits allowed at the table, which may change from time to time. Open the BET LIMITS panel to review your current limits.

In the Immersive view, the TIMER informs you of the duration of the betting time. When the time is up, bets are closed and no more are accepted.

In the classic view, a TRAFFIC LIGHT indicates the current status of the game round by alerting you when you can bet (GREEN light), when the betting time is about to end (YELLOW light) and when the betting time has ended (RED light).

In the CHIPS MENU you can select the value of the chips you wish to bet. You will only have chips with amounts that match your current balance.

Once you have selected a chip, place your bet by clicking/tapping on the relevant betting spot on the gaming table. Each time you click or tap on the betting spot, the value of your bet will be increased by the value of the selected chip or up to the maximum limit for the bet type you have selected. Once you have bet the maximum limit, no additional funds will be accepted for that bet, and a message will appear above your bet to notify you that you have bet the maximum.

NOTE: Please do not minimize your browser or open another browser tab while the betting window is open and there are bets on the table. Such actions may be interpreted as abandoning the game, and your bets will be rejected for that particular game.

The REPEAT button allows you to repeat the same bets made in the previous game. This button is only available before the first chip is placed.

The DOUBLE (x2) button becomes available after placing a bet. Each click/tap doubles all your bets up to the maximum limit. Please note that you must have enough balance to double ALL your bets.

The UNDO button deletes the last bet placed.

If you repeatedly click or tap the UNDO button, bets will be deleted one by one in the reverse order in which they were placed. You can remove all your bets by holding down the UNDO button.

The TOTAL BET indicator shows the total sum of bets placed on the current game.

The markers below the percentage bars allow you to track patterns of results from recent games for single values (1, 2, 3, or 4), Odd (in blue), Even (in red), Small (in green), and Big (in yellow). Each circle on the scoreboard represents the result of a past round. The result of the last round is recorded starting from the right side of the scoreboard columns. Read the column from top to bottom until you reach the end, then start at the top of the adjacent column to the left, and so on.

This representation of recent results can help you predict the outcome of future rounds.

Correction of errors

If any error occurs in the game, system or game procedure, the round will be temporarily paused while the game host notifies the manager responsible for the service. All players will be notified via chat or a pop-up screen, which will indicate that the problem is being investigated. If the manager can rectify the error immediately, the round will continue as normal. If the error cannot be rectified immediately, the round will be cancelled and the initial bets will be returned to all players who participated in the round.

Disconnection Policy

If you log out after closing your bets, any bets you have placed remain valid and will be settled in your absence. When you log back in, you will be able to see the result of any valid bets in the History window.

Automatic chat moderation

Players' messages in the chat are subject to automated decisions. In case of misuse, such as insults to the game host or other players or inappropriate or offensive language, the player will receive a warning. If the warning is ignored, chat privileges will be disabled. If you do not agree with any automated decision, we encourage you to contact your Casino's support for assistance.
