XXXtreme Lightning Baccarat
Game objective
The goal of XXXtreme Lightning Baccarat is to predict whether the Banker or Player hand with the value closest to 9 will win.
Rules of the game
A dealer introduces the game, which is played with eight standard 52-card decks. The values are as follows:
- The Ace is the lowest card and is worth 1 point.
- Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value.
- The 10s and the figures (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are worth 0.
In baccarat, only the numerical value of each card is relevant; the suit (hearts, spades, clubs, or diamonds) is unimportant.
Before the cards are dealt, you have to bet on the hand that is closest to 9 between Player and Banker.
If you think that both the Player and the Banker have cards of the same value, you also have the option of betting on a Tie.
Additionally, you can also bet on the Player/Banker pair (P/B Pair) which will be paid out if the first two cards dealt to Player/Banker are a pair.
A 50% bonus is added to each bet placed. For example, if your bet is $5, the 50% bonus applies, making the odds $2.50, and the total bet will be $7.50. The total bet value is displayed on the screen.
Lightning Round XXXtreme
Once bets are accepted, the XXXtreme Lightning Round begins. Between four and eight Lightning Cards are randomly drawn from a virtual 52-card deck. These Lightning Cards are randomly assigned Lightning Multipliers of between 2x and 10x. If your bet wins and includes at least one of the selected Lightning Cards, the payout will be multiplied by the Lightning Multiplier assigned to each card.
You have the chance to win even more if two or more Lightning Cards are dealt on the same bet. The multipliers stack, and the prize is multiplied by the total. Your initial bet is added to your winnings. If the winning hand does not include any of the Lightning Cards shown, the normal payout applies. See the "Payouts" section for detailed payout information.
When the XXXtreme Lightning Round has concluded, the dealer deals two starting cards to the Player and Banker.
If the Player and Banker have a hand of the same value, the round ends in a tie. Whoever bet on Tie wins, and bets on Player or Banker are returned. The odds on returned bets on Player or Banker are not refunded.
The value of each hand is calculated by removing the tens digit if it totals 10 or more. For example, a hand with a 7 and a 9 (7 + 9 = 16) will only be worth 6 in the game of baccarat (16 – 10 = 6). Similarly, a face card plus a 9 will be worth 9 (0 + 9 = 9).
If the value of the cards in the Player's or Banker's initial two-card hand is 8 or 9 (a "natural" 8 or 9), no further cards will be dealt to either hand.
If the value of the Player's and Banker's two-card hand is between 0 and 7, the "Third Card Rule" is consulted to determine whether a third card is dealt to one or both hands. The Player always goes first.
Player's Hand
| player's starting hand of two cards | |
|---|---|
| 0-1-2-3-4-5 | The player draws a third card unless the banker's hand has a natural 8 or 9. |
| 6-7 | The player stands his ground. |
| 8-9 (a “natural”) | No third card is dealt to any hand. |

If the player stands with a 6 or 7, the bank must draw a card if its hand totals 3, 4 or 5 and must stand if it totals 6.
The player whose hand is closest to 9 will win the game.

Scorecards
Streaks and trends in Baccarat for both the Player and the Banker with a particular shoe are recorded on separate scoreboards. These graphical representations of past game results and other statistics related to the current shoe can help you predict the outcomes of future games.
The BIG ROAD shows the results of each previous game, while the Big Eye Road , Small Road , and Cockroach Road show patterns derived from the BIG ROAD.
Roads and shoe statistics are always cleared whenever a new shoe is entered.
BIG ROAD
In the BIG ROAD, the result of the first game is also recorded in the top left corner.
A new column is created each time the Bank's streak changes in favor of the Player, or vice versa.
A cell outlined in red indicates a win for the Banker. A cell outlined in blue indicates a win for the Player.
A cell in the game results that was affected by the Lightning Multiplier is highlighted in gold. If the Lightning Multiplier was 8 or higher, the cell will appear circled in light red.
0
A tie is indicated by a green line through the cell of the previous game. If the first game results in a tie, the green line will appear first, and once the Player or the Bank wins a game, a red or blue outline will appear around it.
If there are two or more matches with a Draw, the number on the line will show the number of draws.

DERIVED ROADS
For true Baccarat enthusiasts, the Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road are included, displaying patterns derived from previous results recorded on the Big Eye Road. The Big Eye Road uses outlined circles, the Small Road uses solid circles, and the Cockroach Road uses slashes. However, on the Derived Roads, the red and blue colors do not correspond to Banker or Player wins, and there is no way to distinguish ties or pairs. On the Derived Roads, red entries indicate repeats, while blue entries indicate a more erratic or "moved" shoe.
000
Derived Roads do not start at the very beginning of the game. They start with the hand following the first hand in the second, third, and fourth columns of the Big Road. Once a Derived Road is started, an additional red or blue symbol is added after each game.
SHOE STATISTICS
You can view the following statistics based on the current shoe:
Total: the number of rounds completed so far.
Player: the number of wins the player has so far.
Bank: the number of bank wins so far.
Tie: the number of tie rounds so far.
Bank (pair) — the number of pairs the Bank has so far.
Player (pair) — the number of pairs the Player has made so far.

The game continues until the cut card is dealt. At that point, the cards are shuffled by the dealer or a shuffler.
If a shuffling table is available, two shoes with two decks of cards will be used on the table. If so, the dealer will exchange the shoes, and a shuffler will shuffle the cards on the shuffling table while the dealer continues the game.
